Fantasy Points System Handball

• The player chosen as the Captain of your team will be given 2x points.

• The vice-captain of your team will be given points as 1.5x.

• In case a player misses a goal but scores on the rebound then he will be given points for the goal scored but will also be awarded -2 for missing the goal at first.

• In an event a while playing a penalty shot, the player misses the shot, but the goalkeeper hasn’t touched the ball to save the shot, the Goalkeeper will not be given any points. However, the player will be given -2 for the miss

• Points shall be awarded for any extra time/ overtime. However, no points shall be awarded for any event occurring during the Penalty shootout.

• No negative points shall be awarded to any of your chosen player who was not a part of the Starting 7 or appears as a substitute on the field.

• No negative points will be awarded to any player who was not a part of the starting & or played as a substitute in the game, for any card he/she receives for off-field activities

• In case the coach of a team is ejected, a player from the particular team is given a 2-minute suspension. During such event, no negative points will be awarded to the ejected player.

• If a player is given a Blue card after getting a Red Card, no additional negative points will be given to the player

• No points will be awarded to assists

• We use credible data collection sources for the tabulation of points on our platform, and once any match is declared as completed on our platform, i.e., the winners have been declared, no further adjustments or amendments will be made. However, the points might keep on changing amid the live game, and till the game, status is shown as under review.

• The tabulation of points on MyTeam11 is done on the basis of the data received from official and credible third-party sources. Also, prior to the declaration of the points to the users, all the awarded scores, and ranks are cross-checked & verified with data from reliable resources.

• In case any on-field player is transferred amid the middle of the series or game or already scheduled update then such change shall not be reflected in the MyTeam11 roster immediately. The change might be reflected from the next scheduled update. The player will be available for selection on MyTeam11 amid the change made between the game or already scheduled update, but the player will not be awarded any points in MyTeam11.

What is Handball?

Handball is a game played between two teams with each team having 7 players. One match of Handball lasts for 60-minutes & the objective of the game is to score goals. The team that scores more goals at the end of the match wins the game.

Football vs Handball: The Difference

Football and Handball share a lot of similarities with each other; there are various differences, too between the two sports. The major differences between Football & Handball include:

• The outfield players are allowed to touch the ball using any part of the body above the knee. In an event the ball touches the foot of any player except for the goal-keeper, then, the possession shall be awarded to the opposition team.

• In case a player has possession, he/ she is allowed to dribble or take three steps for up to three seconds without dribbling the ball.

• In an event a player is found to be standing still without passing the ball to any other player for more than 3 seconds, then the opposition team will be awarded possession.

• No player other than the goalkeeper is allowed to touch the floor of the goal area.

• In handball, it is allowed for the Goalkeepers to stand outside the goal area, but he/she must not retain the possession when outside the goal area.

• Apart from the Yellow card & the Red card, there is a concept of player suspension wherein the player has to sit out of the game for 2 minutes.

• Handball has a concept of unlimited rotational substitutes, but as per the rules, a maximum of only 7 players are allowed on the field at once.
